Haere haumaru Safe journeys

The snow came and went and since then, we’ve had the usual dose of sunshine, rain and cloud.
Where I’m headed tomorrow – Te Ika-A-Maui / North Island, promises middling to mild temps. I’ve packed for fair to cold weather for my three weeks in Wellington and environs.
Getting excited for next weekend’s journey even farther north, as one of three support poets for Aotearoa’s poet laureate, David Eggleton’s, tokotoko ceremony at Matahiwi marae on Saturday 10th October. Jenny Powell and Michael O’Leary are the other two support poets invited by David. It’s such an honour.
Wishing all the entourage as they make their way, safe journeys to Matahiwi.
Haere haumaru. Safe journeys.
Wonderful you can go ahead with your plans.. I’m really happy for you! best wishes and happy travels 🙂

Thank you Luz. I feel sooo grateful. But of course, it’s been a long wait – especially for David.
