I rather like the idea of a Rockerfeller of oyster catchers happily hanging out, snoozing and generally staying put

Uniquely (I suspect) amongst birders I nominate the oystercatcher as my favourite bird. My collective noun would be “an elegance of oystercatchers”, but of course I’m biased! 🙂
